Over the course of this summer, I've been blessed to receive scholarships from the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and their grad chapter Tau Sigma, the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and their alumni chapter, the T. Mills Realty Group, and my own church, Harvest Community Church. Thanks to these organizations, I've been able to accumulate an extra $10,000 towards my first year tuition at LSU. Though that sum is a tremendous blessing on me and my family, I think it's the conversations that I got to have with members of these organizations that I will forever remember. I had the chance to interact with some very intelligent people and received a ton of advice regarding how to pursue my passions, and that's what has driven me even now to do my best in whatever I do. These scholarships have not only stimulated me financially, but have stimulated me personally, and for that I am truly thankful for these groups.
